Alien plant project adds massive water boost to Gqueberha’s strained water supply-Daily Maverick

This project ..By removing alien vegetation over an area of approximatiely 300m/2, saved massive amounts of water. 844,711m³ of water is equivalent to the annual water usage of more than 16,000 households or the irrigation of more than 3,000 hectares of maize for one season.
